Today, Rock Daily reported that perennial jam crew Phish are going to play their first Halloween concert in 11 years — an event that means the band covers a legendary album in its entirety. In previous years they’ve done the Beatles’ White Album, the Who’s Quadrophenia, Talking Heads’ Remain In Light and Velvet Underground’s Loaded, and they’re always a secret until Halloween night. So will we get a trick or a treat? Our comment section is already speculating: Will they play a version of Purple Rain longer than the movie? Will they fret Thriller with sequined gloves? Will they make OK Computer fitter, happier and jammier? What album would you like to see them play? Our five picks are below:
• The Clash’s London Calling
• David Bowie’s Low
• Funkadelic’s Maggot Brain
• My Bloody Valentine’s Loveless
• De La Soul’s 3 Feet High And Rising
