Taylor Lautner Revisits Kanye West-Taylor Swift VMAs Drama on “Saturday Night Live”

If you thought Saturday Night Live got all their Kanye West-Taylor Swift jokes out of the way when Swift sang about the VMAs incident in her monologue in November, think again. The show let recent RS cover star Taylor Lautner make light of the fact that he stood idly by while his presumed girlfriend got steamrolled by West during his own monologue this past weekend, reliving the event — and using his Xtreme Martial Arts fighting skills to behead a dummy West. Lautner also got a chance to flirt with the most awesome Reba McEntire impersonator ever (Kenan Thompson), but sadly there were no appearances by Rihanna collaborator Shy Ronnie.

Bon Jovi managed to keep their own drama to a minimum — you may recall Richie Sambora flubbing his few lines when Jon Bon Jovi hosted in October 2007 — passing up the opportunity to banter with Bon Jovi opposite band Jon Bovi and sticking to two crisp, solid performances of songs from their return-to-rock record The Circle: “Superman Tonight” and “When We Were Beautiful.”

But lest we forget about Jon Bon Jovi’s comedic chops, take a look at this hilarious digital short he starred in in ‘07 (which also featured Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins): People Getting Punched Just Before Eating.
