Paramore and Weezer to Headline The Bamboozle in May 2010

Paramore and Weezer have been recruited to headline The Bamboozle music festival, taking place May 1st and 2nd at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Paramore played at the first Bamboozle in 2005 as well as the following three years. The Brand New Eyes group also headlined the festival’s West Coast counterpart, Bamboozle Left (now called Bamboozle California), in 2008. As for Weezer, it’s the first time the Raditude act has played a Bamboozle on either coast.

The pre-sale for The Bamboozle 2010 starts this Friday, December 4th at 3pm over at the fest’s official website. Dozens more artists will be announced in the coming weeks. The headliners for Bamboozle California, which will take place in Anaheim on March 28th and 29th, have yet to be announced.

As Rolling Stone reported back in early May, No Doubt and Fall Out Boy served as the headliners at the 2009 fest. For all of coverage from this year’s Bamboozle, plus the concerts’ six breakout acts, check below:
