Video Roundup: Black Eyed Peas, Wolfmother and Scott Weiland

With their historic run atop the Hot 100 finally at an end, the Black Eyed Peas unveiled the newest video from The E.N.D., third single “Meet Me Halfway.” The intergalactic clip finds the Peas traveling to all ends of the universe, with Fergie crooning the chorus while lounging on a planet that resembles Ferngully. Meanwhile, Will.i.am rides an elephant across a Dune-like lunar desert, rapping, “Girl, I travel around the world and even sail the seven seas, across the universe and all the other galaxies. Just tell me where to go, where you want to meet.” It’s five minutes of CGI magic that will no doubt help “Meet Me Halfway” top the charts in the very near future.

Wolfmother’s video for the Cosmic Egg single “New Moon Rising” also premiered and — sorry Twilight fans — it has nothing to do with vampires. Instead, Andrew Stockdale and his new recruits rock out to an eye-catching kaleidoscope of psychedelic imagery and rapidfire animations. The video was directed by New Zealand’s Special Problems, and serves as a solid entry point for what you can expect to hear when Wolfmother’s Cosmic Egg is released on October 27th.

Finally, there’s the stop-motion video for Scott Weiland’s “Tangle With Your Mind.” The video might be the closest the Stone Temple Pilots frontman will ever come to starring in a romantic comedy, so we recommend you check it out above.
