  • Shaun White landed on his second Rolling Stone cover in an issue packed with major rock news: Billy Corgan sounds off on the Pumpkins’ split and Jessica Simpson, and Keith Richards clears up rumors about his sobriety.
  • Lil Wayne evaded jail — thanks to a courthouse fire — and popped up onstage during Jay-Z’s NYC show. We dedicated a rock list to “Freedom Songs” in honor of his brief reprieve.
