  • Pearl Jam followed up a ferocious set at Austin City Limits by staging a brief Temple of the Dog reunion with Chris Cornell in Los Angeles. For more on all the best shows from Texas, check out of full ACL coverage.

  • The great shows didn’t end in Austin: Thom Yorke’s new band made their official debut in L.A., U2 and friends like Lady Gaga gathered at Carnegie Hall, Kelly Clarkson covered the White Stripes in NYC, Mastodon pounded Seattle, AFI brought Crash Love to Minneapolis, the Manic Street Preachers returned, and Farm Aid welcomed Wilco and Neil Young to the Heartland.
  • Kiss’ Sonic Boom is on pace to top the charts next week, and the band laced up their boots to blow the roof off the Late Show. And One fan in Boston was a little too excited.
  • DJ Hero revealed the game’s complete track list. Plus, Jay-Z and Eminem spilled on their DJ Hero Renegade Edition compilations and we looked back at all the rockers and rappers whose avatars have appeared in games.
