In what has to be a first in Rock Daily history, Gary Numan was named the champion of a Rock List, as the readers made sure that Numan’s anthem “Cars” easily toppled the competition in our Car Songs list. The Pleasure Principle hit beat out other auto-related songs by Prince, the Beatles and Queen, while songs about the road helped artists like AC/DC, Deep Purple and Bob Dylan make it onto our all-encompassing list of songs about highways, driving and anything else that could soundtrack a road trip.
