- Pearl Jam have lined up their first summer festival date of 2010 … in England. Eddie Vedder and Co. will headline London’s Hard Rock Calling on June 25th in Hyde Park, NME reports.
- The man Bob Dylan called “the best ballad singer I’ve ever heard,” Irish crooner Liam Clancy, has died at age 74 from pulmonary fibrosis, the AP reports. Clancy was the last surviving member of 1960s vocal quartet the Clancy Brothers.
- Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley’s daughter, singer Alexa Ray Joel, was rushed to a New York hospital over the weekend for a pill overdose that’s being reported as a possible suicide attempt. “Alexa is stable. Her doctors are assessing her needs and that’s all we can say at this moment,” a rep for Joel’s parents told the New York Post.
