  • Mariah Carey’s Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, featuring her Eminem-baiting single “Obsessed” has been pushed back to September 15th. The follow-up to E=MC2 was originally due August 25th, but as Carey Tweeted, she is still in the studio. The video for Gucci Mane’s remix of “Obsessed” is due tomorrow.

  • Beck has recruited Wilco to do a Record Club re-recording of Skip Spence’s 1969 album Oar, Pitchfork reports.
  • Nas’ soon-to-be-ex-wife Kelis gave birth to the couple’s son, however sources tell AllHipHop the MC was not allowed to witness the delivery.
  • Heinz Edelmann, the art director for the Beatles’ 1968 movie Yellow Submarine has died at age 75, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
