Jay-Z and Lady Gaga have both been added as performers for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, invading New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, September 13th. The pair will join previously announced performers Green Day, Taylor Swift, Muse and Pink at the event. Lady Gaga is tied with Beyonce, Mrs. Jay-Z, for the most nominations, with both singers capturing nine Moonman nods apiece. “I’m simply gutted to be both a performer and nominee at the 2009 VMAs.
