The Grammys may be the music industry’s official biggest night, but MTV’s Video Music Awards have become the biz’s craziest scene. From eye-popping onstage pairings (Britney and Madonna, anyone?) to Nirvana’s flying bass knockout to an army of Slim Shady look-alikes to Russell Brand’s potty mouth, the VMAs always deliver something worth talking about — and as usual, Rolling Stone will be all over the show Sunday night.
