  • The first Jack White-produced songs by Wanda Jackson will be released on iTunes and vinyl via his Third Man Records January 26th. The rockabilly legend’s debut single will feature her cover of Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good” and Johnny Kidd and the Pirates’ “Shakin’ All Over.” Read more about White’s decade here.

  • Santigold has been logging some time in the studio with Devo. The singer-rapper-producer made the revelation in a Paste interview, where she said she made her idols “pull out the red hats and pose for a picture.”
  • Lupe Fiasco and Santigold are part of an expedition climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Kenna next week to draw attention to the need for clean water in developing nations, MTV News reports. Summit on the Summit will turn into a doc airing March 14th on MTV.
  • The February 18th Neil Young tribute concert at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre will feature Lou Reed, Iron & Wine, Vashti Bunyan and members of Broken Social Scene, Exclaim reports.
