  • One Jersey legend closed down Giants Stadium, and another hometown hero will open the new one: Bon Jovi are hosting a special announcement at the site of the new Meadowlands Stadium today at noon at which they’re expected to confirm they’ll christen the venue when it opens, the AP reports.

  • A vehicle that was part of a caravan transporting Michael Jackson’s children and their nanny to karate class was involved in a car accident yesterday when a paparazzo rear-ended the car in L.A., TMZ reports.
  • Should Kiss make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, Ace Frehley says he’s open to joining the band onstage. Blabbermouth quotes a new interview from the Artisan News Service where Frehley says, “I really had to let all the negative energy go years ago — for my own sanity and personal health.”
  • Trent Reznor has contributed a reworked version of Nine Inch Nails’ “Zero-Sum” for a promo for the TV show Fringe (for free!), EW reports. The spot airs tonight during the ALC championship game.
