  • Amy Winehouse hit the studio with a friend named Zalon and broke out in a few rap that was thankfully captured on YouTube. Rhymes include, “I know I would never wear my hair out, unless I am with the best.” Check it out above.

  • The holidays will come a bit earlier for Citibank users enrolled in the company’s reward program: they’ll get a first crack at downloading Bob Dylan’s Christmas in the Heart a week before it hits stores, Reuters reports. Proceeds will still be donated to charity.
  • Filter have covered the Turtles’ iconic “Happy Together” for The Stepfather soundtrack. Hear Richard Patrick and Co.’s version on their MySpace.
  • The Black Angels, Breaking band Alberta Cross and dozens more acts are booked to rock Next Big Nashville, from October 7-10th, Billboard reports.
