Michael Jackson’s three children may appear on the upcoming reality show The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, A&E said in a statement yesterday, all but rescinding a prior statement that said the children were “not a part of” the series. Us Weekly first revealed that the Jackson children would be featured in some capacity on the show, even though the family was at odds about it. According to Us, Michael’s older sister Rebbie “feels Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show.”

After A&E said that the children wouldn’t appear, the channel released a statement opening the door for Prince, Paris and Blanket’s involvement, saying, “Filming is taking place right now. As production moves forward, it is entirely possible that the brothers’ paths will intersect with other members of the Jackson family, who may or may not be included in the finished series. However, we cannot at this point definitively know who else may make an appearance in the series.”

The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty will reportedly begin airing in December. As Rolling Stone previously reported, the show was originally supposed to be a one-off special about the Jackson brothers attempting to reunite for a concert, but producers began taping more episodes following the death of Michael Jackson to expand it into a full series. “We have 23 cast members with the last name Jackson,” executive producer Jodi Gomes told Us. “They’ve done a great job opening up about losing a brother.”
