Aerosmith had to bow out of their summer trek, but tourmates ZZ Top have vowed to soldier on, booking a fresh tour that strives to hit many of the cities they were previously scheduled to play. “As musicians, we sometimes have to improvise and that’s exactly what this tour is about,” guitarist Billy Gibbons said in a statement. “We’re going to get out there as quickly as possible and to play for people who want to come to a ‘down ‘n’ dirty’ rock and roll show — no frills and no holds bared.”

Plus, Live Daily reports that Boyz II Men have added dates to a world tour that now stretches into next year. The site notes the band has announced work on a new album called Love that will feature contributions from American Idol’s Randy Jackson. And onetime RS Breaking Band the Low Anthem will hit the road again this fall after wrapping up a string of August dates. Full itineraries for all three tours, after the jump.
