  • Just days after signing with new management, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler entered rehab for an addiction to prescription pills. The singer also pledged allegiance to his bandmates by denying rumors he’s taking a two-year hiatus, adding that he’ll be writing and recording with Aerosmith soon.

  • Radiohead, one of Rolling Stone’s Artists of the Decade, revealed plans to continue recording their new album in January 2010, and RS talked to guitarist Ed O’ Brien about the band’s future and their Number One album of the 2000s, Kid A. Plus, Bruce Springsteen, another Artist of the Decade, shared his thoughts on the 2000s.
  • T.I.’s prison stay ended earlier than expected as the rapper — who was serving a one-year term after pleading guilty to gun charges — was transferred to a halfway house in his native Atlanta.
  • Disneyland revealed plans to bring back Michael Jackson’s Captain EO in February 2010. Plus, the FBI opened up their files on the King of Pop, and embattled physician Dr. Conrad Murray became the star of his own British documentary.
