  • Whitney Houston has granted Oprah Winfrey what the show is billing as “the most anticipated music interview of the decade” — the singer’s first sit-down in nearly seven years. The episode airs September 14th, two weeks after the release of I Look to You.

  • Dave Navarro has joined Billy Corgan’s Sky Saxon tribute band Spirits in the Sky, Blabbermouth reports. The band will play a string of dates at the end of the month.
  • Hear Kiss’ “Modern Day Delilah,” the first single off their upcoming Walmart exclusive LP Sonic Boom, at their official Website.
  • Do What You Want, Be What You Are, the first-ever Hall & Oates box set is due October 6th. The four discs include 16 previously unreleased tracks, live cuts and testimonials by an assortment of rockers ranging from Mick Jagger to Patrick Stump to Smokey Robinson.
