The White Stripes have announced the locations of the official March 16th public screenings of their Canadian tour doc Under Great White Northern Lights on their official Website. Fans also have the opportunity to host their own screening (details here).

  • Neil Young helped wrap the Vancouver Olympics with a performance of “Long May You Run” at the Closing Ceremony last night. Nickelback, Avril Lavigne and Alanis Morissette also played the event. During the Games, RS brought you athletes’ playlists and news about the song Devo debuted there.
  • Gang Starr’s Guru is in a coma after suffering a severe cardiac arrest, Hip-Hop DX reports. The MC is awaiting surgery at a New York hospital.
  • Axl Rose sent out a public-service tweet this weekend, warning fans about fake Guns n’ Roses shows on sale in Panama, Guatemala and Costa Rica. ...
