  • When Rolling Stone caught up with Big Boi at SXSW in March, he said he and OutKast partner Andre 3000 were already cooking up new tracks. Now he tells AllHipHop the “top secret” LP is “fire.” But there’s no release date yet.

  • Cops tell TMZ the scene after Lil Wayne’s show in Arizona last week turned violent when Weezy’s tour bus brigade pulled into a local apartment complex. Stones and bottles were thrown, and at least one shot was fired.
  • Bob Weir and Phil Lesh are planning more shows as the Furthur, Live Daily reports. The band will perform at Oakland’s Fox Theatre September 18-20th.
  • Peter Bjorn and John’s remix album Re-Living Thing will boast contributions from Bun B, Talib Kweli and GZA, according to MTV News.
