  • Fred Durst announced on his Twitter yesterday that Limp Bizkit’s reunion album, due out in the first half of 2010, will be called Gold Cobra. The album is the band’s first since 2005’s The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) and the first with Limp’s original lineup since Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water a decade ago.

  • “Written In Reverse,” the first single off Spoon’s upcoming seventh album Transference, is streaming on the NPR Music website. The cover for the January 19th-bound Transference, which features a William Eggleston’s photograph called “Sumner, Mississippi, c. 1970,” has been posted on Stereogum.
  • Linkin Park are offering up a collection of rarities called LPU9: Demos for fans who sign up for the Linkin Park Underground fan club starting December 3rd. Included in the set, along with demo versions of some of the band’s biggest hits, is an unreleased song called “Across the Line,” which the band recorded during the Minutes to Midnight sessions.
  • Tenacious D and OK Go have been added to the Tuesday, December 8th lineup of the Black Francis-hosted Winston Calling benefit, taking place at Los Angeles’ Echoplex. As Rolling Stone previously reported, the shows, which will benefit nine-month-old Winston Bertrand, will also feature “Weird Al” Yankovic, Flea, members of the Pixies and Love & Rockets. The Wednesday show will feature comedy and magic courtesy of Bob Odenkirk, Pixies drummer David Lovering and more.
