  • Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind” proved lucky for the New York Yankees last night: watch the pair’s pre-game performance of the Blueprint 3 track at YouTube.
  • Before his death, Heath Ledger had begun work a few music videos; his Modest Mouse-directed clip for “King Rat” debuted in August, and now a clip he did for a childhood friend, Australian MC N’fa Forster-Jones, has been released. Watch “Cause An Effect” at YouTube.
  • Norah Jones has recruited the Beastie Boys, Beck and Santigold to remix songs from her November 17th album, The Fall, EW reports, adding she admires Santi’s songs because they sound “organic even though they’re electronic.”
