  • The L.A. Times dropped a reference to the Flaming Lips re-recording Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon into a story last week, and Pitchfork has more details from the band’s MySpace show Q&A. The likely iTunes-only release was recorded with Stardeath and White Dwarfs and features Peaches and Henry Rollins.

  • Def Leppard have canceled the third leg of their tour with Cheap Trick due to “unforeseen personal matters,” and added they “agonized over this decision” in a statement on their official Website. Read RS‘ review of the trek here.
  • Tonight New York’s Empire State Building will be lit up in tie-dye to honor the Grateful Dead, who will be in town this week to attend the new exhibit “The Grateful Dead: Now Playing at the New York Historical Society.”
  • Cyndi Lauper, Bret Michaels, Sharon Osbourne are likely stars of the next Celebrity Apprentice, People reports. The trio were spied on the show’s New York set, though Trump’s reps haven’t confirmed the cast yet.
