  • Eddie Vedder reportedly proposed to his longtime girlfriend, model Jill McCormick, this weekend in Washington, D.C., before he paid tribute to Bruce Springsteen at the Kennedy Center Honors, E! Online reports. The couple have two children; the marriage would be Vedder’s second and McCormick’s first.

  • Springsteen has posted a statement on his official Website in support of marriage-equality legislature in his native New Jersey. “I’ve long believed in and have always spoken out for the rights of same sex couples,” Springsteen writes, adding he urges “those who support equal treatment for our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters to let their voices be heard now.”
  • Fergie will serve as both Ryan Seacrest’s co-host and perform with the Black Eyed Peas at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Las Vegas, MTV reports. While Adam Lambert was dropped from the show, Rockin’ Eve will feature performances by Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Robin Thicke, Keri Hilson and Colbie Caillat, plus more to be announced.
  • Travis Barker and the mother of Barker’s bodyguard Che Still have reportedly settled their lawsuit against the companies named at fault in the South Carolina jet crash that killed four people. The settlement was reached November 18th, TMZ reports. The suit DJ AM filed, which was later changed to a wrongful death suit by his family, remains pending.
  • The vintage Gretsch White Falcon Dave Stewart used in the Eurythmics is up for auction to benefit Stand Up To Cancer. Bidding ends tonight, so get in on the action here.
