  • Bob Dylan will show off almost 100 paintings at a new exhibition in Denmark that opens in the fall of 2010. A press release confirms the show at National Gallery of Denmark (Statens Museum for Kunst) will feature 30 large acrylic paintings from Dylan’s Brazil Series.

  • The Academy Is… will unleash a five-song EP called Lost in Pacific Time – The AP/EP digitally September 22nd tied in to their appearance on an upcoming cover of Alternative Press. The band is on the road from September 25th through mid-November.
  • Three police officers were assaulted as rowdy fans exiting a Winnipeg, Canada, Marilyn Manson concert became unruly, the Winnipeg Sun reports. Five people were arrested.
  • The Decemberists will debut Here Come The Waves: The Hazards of Love Visualized at their final U.S. show in L.A. on October 19th. The band will perform their entire Hazards of Love while animation by Guilherme Marcondes, Julia Pott, Peter Sluszka and Santa Maria rolls.
