  • Last month, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry admitted he hadn’t spoken to frontman Steven Tyler since their tour was canceled over the latter’s onstage injury. It appears the two have broken the ice: the band will rock a private convention for tech company Oracle next week, Reuters reports.

  • Good news for Pavement fans who like to travel to the U.K.: the band will curate the British All Tomorrow’s Parties festival in May 2010.
  • Rob Cavallo has a new gig: Chief Creative Officer of Warner Bros. records. The producer, who helmed Green Day’s American Idiot and is working on Adam Lambert’s debut, will serve as an A&R rep and executive producer for the label, Billboard.biz reports.
  • ’90s Washington, DC post-hardcore greats Jawbox will reunite for a one-off on Jimmy Fallon’s show December 8th. The Washington CIty Paper sniffed out the story and Billboard confirmed the news.
