  • Million Dollar Quartet, the musical about Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins’ 1956 jam at Memphis’ Sun Records, is heading to Broadway this spring, Variety reports. The show features “I Walk the Line,” “Great Balls of Fire” and more classics.

  • LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy says he’s taking chances on his new album, due in early 2010. Murphy tells the U.K.’s Fact Magazine, “I’m working on a song called ‘Why Do You Hate Music?’ Everyone seems to hate music right now, even people who make music.”
  • Damon Albarn has recruited the Horrors for the next Gorillaz album, the BBC reports. Albarn reached out to the band after hearing an early copy of their second LP, Primary Colours.
  • Carmen Electra will release an album of “seductive crooning and salacious rapping” on October 13th, according to AntiMusic.
