Lil Jon Teams With R. Kelly, Akon to Make Fans “Wild Out” to Party Album “Crunk Rock”

R. Kelly, Akon and Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em are among the slew of guest stars on Lil Jon’s long awaited solo debut Crunk Rock, the MC confirms to Rolling Stone. After missing its original release date by about three years, the Crunkmaster General says the album will wrap production in about four weeks, making it ready to drop on November 24th.

While known for his unique, high-velocity production style, Lil Jon says the album will bear the fruits of his collaborations with the producers behind some of the most indelible, Billboard chart-topping hits of recent years, including French DJ David Guetta (Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling”), Dr. Luke (Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl”) and RedOne (Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”). In addition, Crunk Rock’s guest-star parade will include the Game, Ice Cube, 3Oh!3, Elephant Man, Pastor Troy, Ying Yang Twinz, Pitbull and Florida punk rock group Whole Wheat Bread. Jon is also pondering a remix of current street single “I Do” with Gucci Mane. (Keep reading to hear new track “Give It All U Got.”)

The Game and Ice Cube will appear on the hard-rocking “Killas,” but Lil Jon says the version will differ wildly from the version that leaked. “The mix is incredible,” Lil Jon says about the track, a headbanging rewrite of Eazy E’s “2 Hard Mutha’s.” “I think Dr. Dre would be proud of me when he listens to it, because it’s just another level.” In addition, Akon will appear on heavy track with rock guitars. “That one’s gonna shock people,” says Jon.
