Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s personal physician and the focus of the investigation into the King of Pop’s death, has made his first public statements since Jackson’s death on June 25th, thanking his supporters in a video posted onto YouTube today. While Murray doesn’t apologize or mention Jackson’s name in the video, he does say that he can’t return phone calls or e-mail “because of all that’s going on.” With reports that Murray faces the possibility of manslaughter charges in Jackson’s death, Murray states, “I have done all I could. I told the truth, and I have faith the truth will prevail.”

According to TMZ, the video was filmed last Wednesday, August 12th, the day after investigators raided a Las Vegas pharmacy where Murray allegedly purchased the Propofol he administered to Jackson. The day after the video was recorded, the Los Angeles Times reported that Murray left Jackson unsupervised after administering Propofol on June 25th. Murray later returned to find Jackson with a faint pulse. Authorities believe Murray administered Propofol within 24 hours of Jackson’s death, and have since been gathering “evidence of manslaughter” with search warrants issued for Murray’s Las Vegas and Houston offices.
