Chris Isaak, Faith Hill, Maroon 5 to Perform at Rock Hall Induction

Chris Isaak, Faith Hill, Ronnie Spector and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and Jesse Carmichael will be among the performers to take the stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on March 15th at New York’s Waldorf-Astoria. Peter Wolf, Train’s Pat Monahan, Fefe Dobson and Eric Burdon will also take part in the ceremony, Rock Hall president Joel Peresman announced yesterday, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Peresman also confirmed that the Stooges will perform at the event, but didn’t offer up any more details on who will honor specific acts onstage.

As Rolling Stone previously reported, the presenters for the Rock Hall ceremony have been revealed: Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong will induct the Stooges, Phish’s Trey Anastasio will pay tribute to Genesis, Wyclef Jean will honor reggae icon Jimmy Cliff, the Bee Gees’ Barry and Robin Gibb will welcome Abba and E Street guitarist Steven Van Zandt will introduce the Hollies at the Rock Hall ceremony, which will air live on Fuse on March 15th. Additionally, Asylum Records record exec David Geffen will be inducted by the first artist he signed, Jackson Browne, while Carole King will present this year’s songwriting inductees Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry, Jesse Stone, Mort Shuman and Otis Blackwell.

While it remains unclear which of the above presenters will also perform, the Plain Dealer reports that Graham Nash expects to collaborate with the members of Maroon 5 for the Hollies tribute. Jimmy Cliff will likely also perform, but it remains unknown if Abba, who haven’t performed together since dissolving in 1982, or Genesis will appear onstage.
