With Adam Lambert’s For Your Entertainment single “Whataya Want From Me” still firmly entrenched on the Billboard Hot 100, the American Idol Season Eight runner-up will release a digital-only EP featuring three new remixes of the track. Remixes, due out April 9th on AdamOfficial.com before heading to all digital music providers on April 13th, will also contain two new versions of first single “For Your Entertainment,” plus an unreleased track called “Voodoo.”

In addition to next week’s Remixes, Lambert is also rumored to return to his Idol roots next week to mentor the show’s Top Eight contestants, according to web chatter reported on Idol fansite MJ’s Big Blog, which has since been confirmed by a rep for 19 Entertainment to EW. Lambert, arguably the most successful male contestant Idol has ever produced, will reportedly also perform “Whataya Want From Me” on next week’s results show. The news will officially be revealed this week as Simon Cowell, Ellen and the millions watching at home whittle down the group to eight contestants following another Lennon/McCartney week.
