Bob Dylan adds three concerts in both Boston and New York City to his autumn trek, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds announce a trio of Las Vegas shows and NERD introduce fans to their new singer Rhea when the Neptunes-fronted group embark on tour. Full dates for all three jaunts below.

Fans are still questioning exactly what derailed the Fame Kills tour featuring Kanye West and Lady Gaga that was set to launch next month (is it possible not enough fans wanted to see Gaga’s outrageous outfits?). Wondering exactly how Weezer met Weezy on record? Rivers Cuomo is opening up about his band’s collaboration with Lil Wayne, telling Pitchfork how Tha Carter III MC “really tapped into the spirit of the song.” As Rolling Stone previously reported, Cuomo recruited Wayne to lend a verse to the R&B-flavored, Jermaine Dupri-produced Raditude track “Can’t Stop Partying”.

Beastie Boys’ Yauch Updates Fans on Health, Status of Group’s LP

The Beastie Boys‘ Adam “MCA” Yauch e-mailed fans today with an update regarding his recovery from salivary gland cancer, saying he traveled to India to seek advice from Tibetan doctors and attend a “three-day teaching” led by the Dalai Lama. “I’m feeling healthy, strong and hopeful that I’ve beaten this thing, but of course time will tell,” MCA writes.

The makers of DJ Hero have revealed the full list of 93 new blends and mash-ups that will feature on the upcoming Activision game, which will allow players to spin to combinations like David Bowie vs. 50 Cent, Blondie vs. the Beastie Boys, Rihanna vs. the Killers and Eminem vs. Jay-Z. David Bowie will join his Lust for Life cohort Iggy Pop as an avatar in the upcoming LEGO Rock Band game, the singer’s official Website writes.
